Magic Carousel Montessori

Building a Foundation for Lifelong Learning Since 2021

Magic Carousel Montessori Preschool 2 opened in 2021 with the goal of providing the same warmth and quality care Santa Clarita Families have trusted for over 25 years at our original location in Canyon Country. Over the years, our schools have grown right alongside the families we serve, always adapting to meet the needs of every child and creating a true home away from home.

Our Philosophy

We believe every child deserves a warm and caring environment where they feel valued, safe, and supported. We are dedicated to nurturing both academic growth and social development, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Individualized
Learning

At Magic Carousel Montessori Preschool 2, we recognize that every child is unique. Our approach focuses on personalized development, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. By honoring each child’s strengths and interests, we help them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Learning through play

At Magic Carousel Montessori Preschool 2 we believe play is the foundation of early learning. When children explore, imagine, and create, they’re building essential skills for life. Through play, they practice problem-solving, develop language and social skills, strengthen motor abilities, and discover the joy of learning. By blending playful experiences with guided activities, we create an environment where curiosity leads the way and every moment becomes a meaningful opportunity to grow.

Social-Emotional Growth & Safe Environment

Play, guided interactions, and positive modeling help children develop emotional intelligence, social skills, and self-confidence. Our school is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, and families are active partners in their child’s learning journey.

The Independent Infant

Who feeds herself using real glasses, forks, and spoons—so she can build the skills to participate fully in her own life from the moment she’s able and interested, so she can experiment with and come to understand the results of her actions in reality, so she can learn even the simplest task in a way that excites her, challenges her, and redounds upon her confidence.

The Independent Preschooler

Who explores a puzzle of knobbed cylinders—so he can use his curious, busy hands as the purposeful extension of his growing mind, so he can study and deepen his understanding of the details, the connections, the richness of the world around him, so he can become increasingly capable of reasoning, judging, deciding, and succeeding in his world.

The Independent Elementary Student

Who plans his day with a learning journal—so he can organize his effort, time, and mental resources in pursuit of his goals in increasingly sophisticated ways, so he can independently track, monitor, and celebrate his progress and achievements, so by learning to make plans on the scale of a day, a week, or a semester, he can create in himself the ability to make plans on the scale of his whole life.
